Dear Stroller, 

Although there have been no Games for a while, we now have a few excellent Festivals coming up, over the next few months ! 

Firstly, we are looking for Players for the 2^nd Scottish Golden Oldies Rugby Festival being held at Perthshire RFC on Sunday 2^nd May, commencing at 10.00am.  If you wish to attend, please contact Duncan Shepherd -shepherds@coldstone.fsnet.co.uk - to confirm your place.  If anyone has access to a Mini Bus, please let us know.  Transport arrangements will be notified once Players have entered.  It may have to be Car Sharing.  Entry, is £ 10.00 per person ( payable on the Day ) whether as a Player or Supporter and includes Food and Drink Vouchers and Festival Programme.  Advertising is also available for the Festival Brochure, and if interested in finding out more details, please e-mail – mcgoldiego@hotmail.com

Aberdeen Strollers are Registered for the first two of these Events listed below, and as with the Scottish Festival, we are looking for more Players.  If enough interest is shown, Strollers can enter the World Event in Sydney !  However, a Scottish Team is already entered and can be augmented by anyone keen on taking part !  If interested, in any, please let me know – mcgoldiego@hotmail.com     Keep checking the Strollers / Scottish Golden Oldies Websites !

The SRU have offered the Murrayfield Back Pitches for a Golden Oldies Rugby Event on 29^th May, during the IRB 7’s competition and plans are under way for an Edinburgh Festival in October.  If you wish more information, or wish to play in any, or all, of these great Festivals, please notify me as soon as is possible.
